Kay, Candy and family - I was shocked and saddened to hear tonight of the passing of Jeff in June.  I have known the Harris family for over 45 years.  Jeff, Candy and I grew up together.  Sookie and Kay were a part of my memories since I was a kid when mom worked at the Shortstop, even before you guys owned it - that's how far we go back.  I am glad that I was able to see and hug Jeff at my mom's funeral service in January.  I knew that face and smile even though I hadn't seen Jeff in a while.  Gone way too soon, but not forgotten.  RIP Jeff.  Prayers to the family.  K.

Thanks for always making me feel welcome at holidays and family gathering. I truly value the conversations we had. You sure put a smile on my face. I was shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. You will always be in my thoughts. Til we meet again.

I can't believe it has been a month already! I miss you so much! Not a day goes by that I don't wonder why this had to happen, I know there is a reason I just can't figure it out.  The kids did AWESOME at the fair you would be SO proud!  I still am running in to people that havent heard, we cry and then laugh about some funny story they share! Rest assured that we all will be ok, we each have AWESOME memories that we hold tight

To my cousin Jeff:
I think of you often and certain things trigger more emotions than others.  The Anoka County Fair ended yesterday and it just wasn't the same place without you there. I'm sure it was a tough week for Cory, Mari, and Candy but they all did a great job of carrying on the family tradition of selling burgers! It was a good day but still hard as your absence was obvious but your presence still felt. I think you would be proud that your legacy lives on. I miss your sense of humor and can still hear your laugh.  Rest in peace and know that we'll help keep watch on the kids and things for you here.  With Love,

Very sorry to hear of Jeff's passing.  He was one of the first people I met when my family moved to Coon Rapids in '79.  All the best to Kay and the rest of the Harris family.

Jeff smiled every time we met up with him and his food wagon! Hamburgers will never be the same. We are so saddened and pray for peace and comfort.

It was indeed a shock to hear about Jeff.  What a great guy - we will definitely miss him.  When we would go home to the Carlson farm in Palisade, it was so good to see him when he would stop by.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff's family and friends.

Jeff was my best friend for many years in the 70's and we had a lot of fun. We went to the Indy 500, Some may remember Jeff's 54 Ford truck Sanford & Son that we painted on the door  and many more memories too long to list here but I will remember forever my condolences to Kay, Candy and the whole Harris Family. I will miss you Jeff

It was a shock to hear about Jeff. I've known the Harris family since my folks joined the Sno-Cruiser snowmobile club in the 60's. Jeff and I went to school together, gradguated, and went our seperate ways. Over the years we'd meet every now and then and it was just like we'd seen each other yesterday. The world is a lesser place without him. My sincere condolences to the Harris Family.

Kay and family so sorry to hear about your son.  It has been years but still think of all the fun at the old Shortstop.

Jeff was our son-in-law and the greatest papa our grand-children could ever have hoped for!!!  He left this world way to early and will certainly be missed,loads, by everyone he knew. One comforting thought is that he will be with many of our loved ones that also left us way to early..
