I too remember Dale from about 2nd grade, we were the only ones that didn't go for religious instruction that year and our teacher had us work together on flash cards, reading, etc. He was shy even then, but like others remember, always had a smile for you. We had a laugh at the last reunion I was at because we had the same profession, cleaning up after people! So sorry he had been ill for so long.

In 2nd grade of the old Cook School, the first year of school I really remember, I sat across the aisle from Dale, and from then on, we continued through graduation in most of the same classes. I remember him as quiet, and never causing any trouble! Every year as we age, more classmates will continue to leave us. I'm thankful for the memory of Dale, and hope that you will cherish all that you have. My sympathies to you.

Growing up in Northern Minnesota I was the youngest and had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Dale was a tremendous baseball player, and I remember him being able to throw the ball from the fence to the Homeplate!

Met Dale one year when Berger transfer had a company bowling get together. Both Da.le and Mary bowled on our team, had so much fun and lots of laughs.
