Kris Marie Jurchisin

Kris was born February 9th, 1964 and raised in Northeast Minneapolis where she graduated from Edison High School, class of 1982. Kris had a passionate love for radio and music which followed her path onto Bemidji State University the following fall after graduation where she studied Mass Communications and participated in choir and swimming.

Kris is preceded in death by her Mother and US Marine Corps Veteran, Ruth Jurchisin; Father and Navy Veteran, William Jurchisin; Brother Michael Jurchisin and Aunt Lorraine Sullivan.

Kris is survived by her sisters Joann Wellbrock (Dennis) and Kelly Hammes (John); Nieces Megan Conrad (Ryan) and Anna Hammes (Adam); Nephews Michael Wellbrock, Ryan Wellbrock, John Wayne Hammes, Jamie Hammes; 10 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Kris is also survived by her loving and life long friends Terese and Lindsey. Last but not least, Kris is survived by her beloved companion, Sadee.

Kris had a beloved hobby of crafting and was extremely artistic in pottery and specialized card making where she found so much joy in gifting to her friends and family. Kris had a small circle but that circle was her life and she was never one to be shy of her unconditional love for others. At last, Kris’ mind and soul is at peace and she will be greatly missed on this earth.
