Age 53 of St. Paul, formerly of Coon Rapids passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 3, 2012. Preceded in death by father, Joe Maddox. Survived by loving mother, Clara; brother, Eddie; sisters, Donna Fisher, Rose (Terry) Oakes; nephew, Leland Fisher III (Mary Beth Bruflodt); niece, Jillian Fisher; great-nephew, Leland W. Bruflodt; many aunts; uncles; cousins; relatives and friends and special furry cat companion, Bismarck. Larry loved American and Civil War History, was an avid Twins and St. Paul Saints Baseball fan, lover of classical music and opera and enjoyed to travel. Larry enjoyed playing a variety of games - chess, cribbage, Jeopardy, and crossword puzzles. His jokes and sense of humor will be missed. Visitation 11-12pm Tuesday 8/7/12 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW. Graveside service to follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Family prefers memorials to the Hemophilia Foundation.
