Age 94 of Columbia Heights, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Lauretta Cox; parents, John and Louise Cox; brothers, John Jr., Lyle and Orlan Cox. Survived by children, Dwight Cox and Diane (John) Torrance; grandchildren, Jennifer Cox, Daron (Amy) Cox, Shawn Torrance, Amy (Matthew) Coppersmith and Naomi Torrance; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Aaden, Eva, Kendall, Turner, Marenna and Cai; siblings, Loraine Milner and Clinton (Evelyn) Cox. Memorial service 3 PM Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd., Coon Rapids with a gathering of family and friends 1 hour prior to service. Private family interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens.
