Lee Morin, Bernie Elliott, Mick Simmons and I car-pooled for six-seven years from Blaine to the CHS office in Inver Grove Heights.   The ride morning and late afternoon everyday was roughly an hour of interesting conversations......never total quiet.    We talked about work, other employees, customers we talked to, and life in general, with laughter involved half the time.   Lee had stories from work that I often asked, "You can't make this stuff up!".   He was a sharp mind, an incredible leader, and was totally a loving father and husband.   His character example and mentoring influence was a positive influence in my life.

Lee was a mentor, a car pool partner for many years, and a friend for many more.   My last face-to-face visit with him, at Sharon and his lake home, was memorable hearing about his children, asking about his amazing career, seeing his 72 Chevy and generally catching up.   What a life he had!   I feel very fortunate to have known Lee. 

I am so bummed that I am in Arizona rather than in Coon Rapids today.

The Morin Family lost an incredible human being as did all of us whose lives were touched by Lee. What a blessing to have worked with him and to have had him for a friend! You knew when you talked to him he always used common sense, good judgement and facts to give advice or make business decisions. You always knew where he stood on issues and why. He lived his life in service to others and I never heard him complain. He never compromised His Faith, His Integrity, His Values. He was kind, caring, compassionate and always willing to help others instead of himself. He taught us how to live and he taught us how to love. There are no gifts greater than these that any man can leave to his family and friends. He was a successful family man, businessman, golfer and everything else he focused his head and his heart on. Goodbye is much too final, so I will just say, See Ya Later Lee, my friend and mentor. God Bless Sharon, your sons and their families and help them thru this painful and difficult time.  Al

To the Morin Family! My condolences to your family on the passing of Lee. I. First met Lee when Cenex and LOL formed a joint venture back in the late 80’s and I was on the Cenex sales team located in Yakima, WA. I always enjoyed his professionalism, candor and quick wit. He will be truly missed. May the “Peace of  God “ be with your family during this time. Greg Robertson 

Sharon and family - my deepest sympathies.

Lee was a great friend and a colleague. An individual who had a great deal of passion for his work and golf. An outstanding family man who was always caring and willing to help his friends. We will miss him tremendously but his cheerful memories will always stay with us forever. 
Rest in peace Lee and may God give Sharon and family strength to cope with this loss.

Lee was a very fine, hard working, dedicated employee of CHS and other cooperatives, but an even better person to his family and many friends.  He will be missed. My sympathy to the family.  Leon Westbrock

Sharon and family….my thoughts and prayers for all of you♥️I have such fond memories of all the boys especially Ken and his friendship with my Andy…I still think of all of you as I look out the back window to where you lived all those years.  I am so saddened by the news🙏🏻
