Linda Marie Ostman

Linda was born April 10, 1949 to Roy and Evelyn Becklund in Minneapolis, MN. After graduating from Minneapolis North High in 1967, she went on to get her AA degree from North Hennepin Community College. After college she worked at Tennant Company, where she met her future husband, and later worked at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids as a Pharmacy Technician. On July 14th, 1973, Linda was joined in marriage to Richard Ostman in Brooklyn Center, MN. Together they raised two children, Mark and Jennifer. Linda enjoyed reading, shopping, photography, going to the beach, collecting shells, the Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her loved ones.

She is preceded in passing by her parents Roy and Evelyn Becklund.

Linda's Legacy will live on through her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard Ostman; son Mark (Carrie) Ostman of Rochester and their children: Isabella, James, Claranna, and Oliver and daughter Jennifer (Aaron) Klemmensen of Otsego and their children: Alexis (Bryan) Mastrangelo, Jack and Lucy, siblings Ron (Mary) Becklund of Rush City, Sandy(Gilbert) Garza of Excelsior Springs, MO, Gary (Bev) Becklund of Minneapolis, Pam (Dan) Mengelkoch of Minneapolis, Sharon Stevens of Fridley, sister-in-law Lois (Ron) Levin of Forest Lake and many nieces and nephews.

Join us to Celebrate Linda's Life on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, at Gearhart Funeral Home 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation 2-4 pm with prayers offered at 4 pm. A private family burial service will take place at a later date.
