Obituary of Marcus Nushun-Denis Kennedy
Marcus was born on August 11, 1978 at the Bensonville Clinic in Montserrado, Liberia to Ms Evelyn Kennedy & Mr. William Jackson (both predeceased him). From a very young age, Marcus was loved and cared for by Mr. & Mrs. William Henry Kennedy, Senior (both also pre-decreased him). He began his primary education at the Careysburg Elementary School; and, attended the Seys United Methodist Church, Careysburg district with his parents. In 1986, He (Marcus) moved to Lamco, Yekepa Nimba County to live with his sister Mrs. Emma Kennedy Katakpah to further his education. There, he became a member of the First United Methodist Church & attended the Saint Joseph Catholic School. In 1990, Marcus and his family sought refuge in the Ivory Coast, West Africa due to the Liberian civil war. Eventually, he migrated to the United States. He lived in Philadelphia, New York and finally settled in Minnesota in 1996. He began his career at the U.S Bank. Driven by his ambition, he obtained his Associates of Applied Science degree in Supply Chain Logistics from the St. Paul College as well as many other awards and certificates. Later, he joined his Delta family in 2013 where he worked till his death on July 25th, 2022. He leaves to mourn his loss his fiancée (Sianneh Howard), his two biological children (Alayna & Micah), bonus children (Nushong & Christine), sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, cousins, loved ones (friends & workmates) and a host of other relatives in the U.S.A, Liberia & the world at large. Marcus was a faithful servant of God. One who loved his kids and family dearly. His death has left a void that we can only hope and pray that time heals. You fought a good fight. Your legacy will continue. Lay down & take your rest. We bid you goodnight till we meet again. Please join us to Celebrate Marcus' Life on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
