Marian V. LeBrun

Our beloved wife and mom, Marian Violet LeBrun of Blaine, MN went to heaven on Saturday, September 1, 2012.

She was born in New Ulm, MN on March 9, 1941; the youngest child of Selmer & Bernice Redning. Marian grew up in the Winthrop area and married her high school sweetheart, Fran on September 29, 1956. They moved to the “cities” in 1958 and have lived in Blaine since 1967.

She worked for Anoka-Hennepin School District and retired. Marian has traveled to all 50 states with her husband and family. With her beautiful voice she sang in the Schola Choir at Epiphany Church. She most enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Gary & David; and brother, Lester Redning.

Marian is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Francis; daughters, Sherri & Florian Meier, Lori & Steve Chilstrom, Jodi & Jeremy Boyer and Lyle Welsh; grandchildren, Keith Meier & Jessica Keller, Amanda Welsh & Nick Staff, Jessica Boyer and Connor Boyer; great-grandson, Nicholas Staff, Jr.; sister, Arlene & Bob Bohlke; sister-in-law, Corrine Redning; and by many more relatives & good friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, Thursday, 9/6/12 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids and one hour prior to Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM, FRIDAY, 9/7/12 at The Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids. She will be laid to rest next to her son at Epiphany Cemetery.
