All her life, she loved anything to do with cars. In fact, she loved fast cars as much as she loved to be an aggressive driver in her “Hot Rod Lincoln”. Her proudest moment was when she got to drive a Richard Petty stock car on the Milwaukee Mile racetrack for her 50th birthday. She was the fastest woman on the track that day. She also rode at a speed of over 140 MPH with her husband Bob on a Motorcycle on the way home from a trip to Roseau, MN - to say that Mary liked to go fast would be an understatement.
She also loved astrology and anything to do with the night sky. When the moon was out at night, she would always say to her children “I see the moon and the moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me!” - she could always tell you the dates of somebody’s birthday, and if they happened to share a birthday with someone else in her life. But no matter what, she always loved her family. Raising her three children to be good citizens was Mary's greatest accomplishment.
Mary was proud to be a life member of the VFW & local American Legion until the Legions demise. She loved good times with good friends, sharing laughs and life stories no matter where she went or who she was with. In her later years, Mary was most comfortable staying home, watch movies on T.V., and really enjoyed kung pao chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, & egg foo young from the Rose Garden restaurant. She will be remembered for her love for dogs, classic cartoons & her playlist of favorite songs she loved to listen to.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Bob; children, Aaron, Courtney, Danny; parents, Joseph "Dan" and Donnalee Wells; siblings, Joe Wells and Angela Mann; several uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.
