Limon, Colorado on July 17, 1938. Her family moved to Starbuck,
Minnesota in 1951 and graduated from Starbuck High
School in 1958. She continued her education to become a
licensed practical nurse in Willmar and worked for many years in this profession. Norma passed away on Dec. 4, 2021. She was 83.
She is survived by brothers Richard, Lesley, Allen Arfsten and
Oda “Butch” Chartier, as well as sisters Lynda Williams and
Carolyn Cotter. She is also survived by daughters Carol Tienter
and Mary Rddad, sons David, Brian and Christopher, and
many grand- and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; parents
George Chartier, Mary Morrill; step-father Raymond Arfsten; and
brother Keith Arfsten.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.
18, 2021, at Northgate Lutheran Church at 7295 Sunwood Dr.
NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Reviewal will begin at 10 a.m.
