Age 88 of Blaine, formerly of Pequot Lakes. Passed away on January 22, 2019 with her loved ones by her side. She was born May 17. 1930 in Delavan, Minnesota, the daughter of Lewis and Mae (Rendall) Walker. She grew up in Bagley, Minnesota. Opal married Charles Boisjolie on August 30, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They were happily married 62 years. They moved to Blaine, Minnesota and raised their 3 children. Opal worked for Unisys for 27 years. After retiring, they moved to their lake home in Pequot Lake, Minnesota. She belonged to the "Red Hatter's" of East Twin Lake. Opal enjoyed needlepoint, birds, and spending time in her flower gardens and raspberry patch. Opal loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
She is survived by her Children, Deb (Don) Sauer, Trudy (Tom) Walby, Scott (Theresa) Boisjolie; Grandchildren, Dallas (Becca), Dain (Amber), Jayson, Travis (Alison), Jessica (Randy), Abigail, Aaron, Brendan; Great-grandchildren, Bella, Madison, Hunter, Zander, Cayd, Briar, Opal, Alton, Addie, Nolan, Loralei, and a Zahler baby on the way; Brothers, James Walker, Alton (Adeline) Walker; Sister, Delores Saul; many Nieces and Nephews.
Holding the gates open and welcoming her to Heaven were her Loving Husband, Charles; Parents, Lewis and Mae (Rendall) Walker; Sisters, Peg, O’Donna, Hazel, Carmilla and Brother, Charles.
