She was a kind and loving mother who was always there when we needed her. Her children and animals were very important to her. She cherished times with friends as well. She enjoyed spending time with her plants, tending her chickens and other pets. She always dreamed of writing a book and shared many short stories throughout her life. Helping others was always important to her and she often volunteered at the local food pantry as well as at her church teaching Sunday school and managing the library there.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Sullivan; her four children; Joram McKenney, Sasha Keeler, Rose McKenney, and Crysta McKenney; and her six grandchildren.

More information on a burial service that will take place at Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery in Arcadia, WI in the spring will be published online at a later date.
She asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to one of the following charities: The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, Heifer International, Arbor Day Foundation.
