Evelyn,
It was good to see your at church today.
But so hard to see you alone...
Dick was such a good neighber to us for 30 years. We will always remember him as the Lawnmower man. He fixed, lent & sold us lawnmowers over the years. We are so sorry for your loss...

To Aunt Evelyn and cousins,
No words can really give much comfort to you during this time. Memories seem to be what brings a sense of peace. Just seeing Uncle Dick at my parent's memorial services gave me comfort. I always thought Uncle Dick looked just like my father, except much thinner! When I spoke with him then, he had such a kindness in his eyes and seemingly gentle manner. He talked of writing about his war days. Was he able to finish those memoirs, because I'd loved to read them? I recently had back surgery and wasn't able to attend the service, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers!
