of Coon Rapids, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on July 20, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, IA to Durward and Vera Sadler, and was raised on the family farm in Mount Vernon, IA. Following high school, Bob attended Dunwoody College of Technology for auto mechanics. During this time, Bob met his beloved Sue and they were married on October 26, 1963. Bob started his career as an auto mechanic at Swanberg and Scheefe Buick. He then continued on to work at Ray Elliot Buick and Lupient Auto Mall, retiring as a foreman in September of 2004.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, and grandson, Aaron.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Doug) Hoover, and Vicki (Darrell) Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica (Jake), Kayla (Lucas), Ashley (Michael), and Ryan (Caitlin); great-grandchildren, Skylynn, Stella, Grayson, Slade, Rhett, and Blakely.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, square dancing, traveling, and dog training. He was also a devoted member of his church.
Funeral Service 11:00 am Sat. 9/19/26 at Andover Christian Church (16045 Nightingale St. N.W., Andover) Visitation 10:00 am until time of service.
Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids, MN.
