Age 50, of Coon Rapids, MN entered the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior on November 2, 2018. Robin was born June 8, 1968 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, NC. Raised in Star, NC, Robin graduated from East Montgomery High School before moving to Fort Walton Beach, FL to further her education. It was there she met and married her husband Daniel Grafton on February 22, 1992.
Robin was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Louise Reed; Mother, Thelma (Trixie) Cramm.
She leaves behind her Loving Husband, Daniel; two amazing Children, Jennah and Reed; her Dad, Robert (Becky) Reed; two Brothers, David Millward and Cody Reed; and Loving Family and Friends.
Robin loved life, and she lived it to the fullest. Her beloved husband Dan and her adoring children Jennah and Reed were her heart — she relished every minute she had with them. Robin was a homeschool mom and was very involved in the local homeschool co-op. She also found great joy in being a Youth Leader and delighted in spending time weekly with “her” kids. She took them under her wing and loved each one as if they were her own. Robin held nothing back at the seasonal youth retreats. It was not unusual for her to start a spontaneous dance party or bust out a rap song on the spot, all while drawing the students closer to Jesus.
Robin and Dan were very involved in their church communities throughout their 26 years of marriage. They participated in various Bible-studies, Alpha, and most recently in missional communities. Robin also kept the beat for many by playing the drums for Sunday morning Worship. Countless lives were touched through these ministries. Deeply loved by many, you didn’t just meet Robin, you experienced her. She could often be found in her kitchen cooking hushpuppies, corn bread, or one of her dear Grandmother’s cherished recipes for those she loved. One of her favorite places was her screen house, where she would sit amongst God’s creations and watch the butterflies, birds, and other small animals while drinking sweet tea and enjoying the breeze.
After a yearlong battle with stomach cancer, we celebrate Robin entering into the Kingdom, but will miss her greatly. We love you Robin — until we meet again.
