Ronald Gary Soderberg

Ron was born on March 5th, 1942, to Kenneth & Elaine Soderberg in Superior, WI later relocating to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Ron was a Veteran with the Marine Corps. He found his passion for driving, retiring from Danner. After retiring, he also drove school bus in Hayward, WI until relocating back to MN.

Ron was known for his kindness, patience, sense of humor as well as his sarcasm. He loved to joke around and especially the reactions he could get. Ron’s favorite area to spend his time was the Duluth/Superior area. During his time at the New Brighton Care Center, he looked forward to his bucket of popcorn, yelling bingo and collecting his prized stuffed animals.

Ron and Brooksie had 1 son, Kennith Soderberg. Ron shared 11 years with his special friend Donna Paine until she passed away in 1999. He & Betty Tuttle married in 2001 and gained 3 daughters: Brenda Enzenauer, Sandra Larson & Jennifer Tuttle.

Ron joins the following family members in heaven: Elaine & Harry Stallings; Kenneth & Margaret Soderberg; Grandparents, Stepsister Carol, Brother-in-Law Stuart Hollins (Shari), Daughter Jennifer Tuttle, and Son-In-Law LeRoy Lyons (Brenda); and many other family and friends.

Ron is survived by: Wife Betty Soderberg; Son Kennith Soderberg (Tara Niner); Sister Shari Hollins; Daughters Brenda Enzenauer, Sandra (Bill) Larson; Son-In-Law Greg (Jenny) Fuller; Grand Children Erin Hanson, Levii Soderberg, Alexis Soderberg, Cooper Soderberg, Chloe Soderberg, Beth (Lwan) Moe, Donald (Jessica) Enzenauer, Amanda (Jerome) Johnson, Cody Larson, Savannah Tuttle, Christopher Fuller, Donavan Fuller, Hailey Niner & Carter Niner. He also had a special place in his hear for his 7 Great Grandchildren Iszavier, Iszeya, Iszak, Iszabella, Caleb, Alice and Sai’Naiya; Niece Janice and several loving cousins.

We will honor Ron’s memory with a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 23rd from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the community room at 2287 Palmer Drive, New Brighton, MN 55112. There will be a private moment for immediate family 1 hour prior.
