Ryan Craig Larson, age 31, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on July 1, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend whose presence brought light and laughter to the lives of everyone who knew him.
Ryan was born on February 10, 1995, to Trevor and Jennifer Larson, who loved him deeply and were proud to call him their son. He is survived by his parents, Trevor and Jenny Larson; his sister, Lindsay Votaw (Kurt Votaw); his nephew, Mason; and his nieces, Mila and Reagan, who will forever carry the memories of their uncle’s love. He is also survived by his grandparents, Terry Precious, Diane Larson, and Merle White, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ryan had a heart that was truly one of a kind. He was known for his contagious laugh, his quick wit, and his ability to make people smile — often, his laugh was funnier than the joke itself. He was kind, sensitive, thoughtful, genuine, and deeply caring. Ryan had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and he never wanted anyone to feel left out.
He found joy in many passions. Ryan loved music and expressed his creativity through sketching and art. Throughout his life, he enjoyed sports including baseball, basketball, skateboarding, soccer, and football. Some of his favorite memories were made outdoors, especially during trips up north where he could fish and spend time on the boat. He had the biggest soft spot for Scout, Kurt and Lindsay’s dog, who he loved with all his heart. Scout brought him comfort, companionship, and countless moments of happiness.
Most importantly, Ryan loved Jesus. His faith was an essential part of who he was, and his family finds comfort knowing he is now at peace in God’s loving presence.
Ryan leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made on the hearts of those around him will last forever. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
