I have worked with Scott planning his trips he loved so much! I am his Travel Agent. I had so much fun meeting him and Dan at Applebee’s after we would bet who would win the football games between the Vikings and the Packers. I owed Dan and Scott would laugh at me. I love that I was fortunate to have had him in my life! I will miss you so much! 

I  WANTED TO SPEAK AT THE FUNERAL YESTURDAY, BUT I WOULD HAVE COMPLETELY FALLEN APART.   I JUST WANTED TO SHARE  WITH EVERYONE MY MEMORIES  THAT  SCOTT AND I HAD AT ALL THE MARATHONS  AND MS BIKE RIDES THAT HE WAS INVOLVED WITH.  HE WAS ALWAYS AT THE FINISH LINE WAITING FOR ME.  PEOPLE OFTEN WONDERED HOW I COULD FINISH A MARATHON.  IT'S QUITE SIMPLE REALLY,  IT'S BECAUSE I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO BE THERE AT THE END.   ALSO, I'LL NEVER FORGET THE TIME SCOTT AND I FLEW IN RYAN'S PLANE ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR.  SCOTT WAS RYAN'S CO-PILOT.   HE WAS IN HIS GLORY.  I JUST WANT TO THANK RYAN FOR GIVING SCOTT THAT SPECIAL MEMORY.  MANY PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT SCOTT AND I WERE TWINS, BECAUSE WE LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE..   I WOULD TELL THEM NO, THAT WE ARE 2 YEARS APART.  Scott, I recall the days when I worked in Corporate Sponsorships and we had pallets upon pallets of boxes going in and out of the mail room. You would go above and beyond to help me, always helpful and kind, and always smiling.  It was always a pleasure to run into you and chat.  You were truly a delightful person.  You will be missed.  

Tara Plomski – 30th floor 

Scott, for the 4 years I worked at U.S. Bank Plaza, you were a welcomed presence around the office. You were always there with a smile and were helpful when we needed you. I remember you back when I worked on the 21st floor you’d take a break and sit in the same spot every day looking out at U.S. Bank stadium. Probably wishing you were at a Vikings game! We will surely miss you.

Scott, you will be missed. I really appreciated the moments where we just got to chat about work and life. Always appreciated your kindness and your sincerity. I’m very sorry that COVID has kept me from seeing you and so many other colleagues who make my day brighter. May good memories of you continue to live on in all who knew you.

 Scott, we will miss seeing you come by in the mornings. I enjoyed every moment we got to talk. We even got the chance to see you in Las Vegas and share a drink. Memories that will never fade. Thank you for being a great value to our team but thank you for being our friend.

My deepest sympathy to  your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Scott and I struck up a friendship at work. We'd take time to chat when he was delivering the mail. He even went out of his way to drop off packages at our desks. We'd chat about traveling  - his next trip to Vegas and have a few laughs about something crazy that happened at the office. My co-workers and I would remind him of the time someone on our floor had a lawn mower delivered to the office -- Scott, being the great guy he was, brought it to the man's desk! We never found out how he got it home! 

Scott will be missed by many folks at the office, and will be remembered as a kind, helpful, funny and very special man.

I worked with Scott for many years, at U.S. Bank.  He was by far one of my favorite people to visit with at the office as he delivered mail.  Between his biking excursions and golfing trips, I loved hearing about his adventures.  Scott was the most kind, friendly and genuine person - and it breaks my heart to hear that he's passed.  My deepest sympathies go out to his family.  I will be praying for you all during this difficult time.

I first met Scott on the 26th floor of the US Bank Plaza building. 
We then discovered that we took the same bus into and out of work.  Every morning at 6:05 and every afternoon at 3:23 I looked forward to standing in line with Scott chit chatting about anything and everything.
A fond memory was walking into Red Ginger restaurant and seeing Scott enjoying an eggroll and a Blue Moon after work! He gave me many tips on what else I should try from that restaurant!

I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing.  We spoke many times as we passed each other in the US Bank Plaza elevators and offices.  He was constant and very pleasant presence in the building.  He will be missed.

First memory was an event I hosted at U.S. Bank Plaza North (27th floor) called waffle Wednesday. I was in the breakroom and Scott was delivering mail. As usual I always yell a "Hey - who are you?" See I was new to Minneapolis and other than the team I hired everyone else was new. Scott so humble look around surprised I meant him. I offered him a waffle and we chatted. From there on out my mail was on my desk and he always chatted.

Next memory - Las Vegas. We were planning to go for the super bowl and as always, we shared our trip itinerary with Scott. WHO KNEW - same hotel - same time! I told him he was so cool that he gets a beer on me. Sure enough the Saturday before the super bowl we connected at Margaritaville! His favorite beer was not available at the roof, but the bar tender told me I could get it downstairs. A few steps later we cheered the afternoon (and evening lol) away!

Scott was more than just our delivery guy. He was our friend. A gap will always be on the 27th floor.

This picture depicts Scott as I'll remember him, always with a smile.  I enjoyed seeing Scott on the 27th floor at USBank daily, always friendly, so enjoyable to share stories with, such a kind person.    

Scott was the best uncle anyone could ever hope to have. He was always present at our events, graduations, church events, holidays, he was someone we could count on. This was one of his best attributes. He was dependable and reliable, Iike a rock for our family! We spent many mornings having breakfast with Scott, and he was so good about meeting up with us and hanging out. He always had a positive attitude, a smile on his face, a calm and pleasant demeanor. He was someone you wanted to spend time with and be around because he made you feel at ease and relaxed and taken care of. He was a gentle spirit. My husband remembers taking him on an airplane ride, up the North Shore, and he was beaming. Scott said numerous times how much he enjoyed and appreciated it. Scott always appreciated the little things you did for him. He loved water, Duluth and the North Shore. He could stand forever just looking at the lake. Once when he came to visit, we bought a cheap bottle of white Zin for him, and he went on and on about how great it was, although it wasn’t that great a bottle of wine! That’s just how he was, he appreciated little things, sitting and visiting, a glass of wine, chips and salsa, relaxing, being together. Scott also enjoyed biking. He wasn’t the leader of the pack, he would always bring up the rear. He would take his time, never really rushed anything, he was one person who was honestly good at savoring the moment. There aren’t many people who do that anymore, but Scott showed us how to savor the moments and be present. Scott also showed us how to take care of people, whether it was a trip to the airport, bringing lunch, offering to drive, he would be there and was someone you could count on. He was a giver. He was always on time, ready to pick you up whether you were early or late. We’ll never forget how you took care of us, we love and miss you Scott! (PS we’re sorry RC kept you up that one night, licking your head! He loved your kind and gentle spirit too!)

Scott was a really fantastic uncle. He was a really fun addition to any trip and was always there at key events in life. He was a wonderful, thoughtful Godfather. Scott was such a great guy and a pleasure to be around. I will miss him at future key events gently squeezing my elbow and saying "Hi, Hopie!". There just is not many in this world like him. A unique soul that we had the honor to know and spend time with. We are comforted to know of the joyous reunion he must have had with his parents Grandpa Ted and Grandma Gloria. He was a remarkable son, uncle, brother, friend. He was easy to Love.

We will now need to drive ourselves to the airport and figure out which plane we might be flying and when we might get there. We will miss his amazing travel knowledge:)

To Kris, Brad and Dawn, We offer our condolences on Scott's passing. Scott was in our lives for 40 years. He and John met on an Alaska cruise in 1981. For the rest of his life we travelled from Europe to Hawaii, from Canada to Panama and everywhere in between. Many road trips in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and California. And cross country to Massachusetts. Memorable cruises. If we didn't have to work we would have toured nonstop. 
My favorite memory of Scott shows what a friend he was. He would ride up to Grand Forks ND with me when I was in law school, sleep on the floor, then fly home. We will never forget you Scott.
