He is preceded in death by his parents, Tilman "Ted" and Gloria Hassel.
Scott's legacy will live on through his siblings, Bradley Hassel, Kristine (Randy) Taber, Dawn (Dave) Liedholm; and many nieces and nephews.
Scott worked at American Guidance Service publishing company after graduation and enjoyed retirement from there after a long life of service. He began traveling the world and enjoyed many cruises. He loved his job and was proud of his work ethic. His extended family was his joy. Scott loved great food and restaurants. He put everybody else ahead of himself. He then worked for US Bank for the remainder of his working years. His great sense of humor and wonderful smile will be deeply missed. Go Vikes!
Join us to Celebrate Scott's Life on Tuesday, May 18th, at Olivet United Methodist Church, 3620 43rd Ave N, Robbinsdale. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am with service at 11 am. Please join us for a luncheon following the service, and interment at 2:30 pm at Morningside Memorial Gardens, 11800 University Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN.
