Susan Kay Christen

Susan was born November 5th, 1945, in Robbinsdale, MN to Floyd and Ethel Polson. She married Arbil Christen Sept 12th, 1964. She enjoyed nature, being on a bowling league, singing in the Church choir, reading, shopping and discussing religion and politics with family. She was a strong Christian woman who loved Jesus. She retired from Abbott Northwestern Hospital in 2015. Previously worked at Unisys.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Arbil; and her sister, Nancy; and brother-in-law, John McCarron.

Susan is dearly missed by sons, Christopher Christen, James (Mary) Christen; and daughter, Candace (Matt) Johnson; grandkids, Amanda Christen, Blake (Sophia) Johnson and Logan (fiancé Lauren) Johnson; great grandsons, Jonathon and Rex; along with many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 10:00 am with the memorial service following at 11:00 am at Messiah Lutheran Church 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View, MN 55112. There will be a luncheon following the service.

Her final resting place will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids, MN at a later date.
