It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Theresa Ethel "Terry" Perez of Coon Rapids, MN, who passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. Theresa was born on June 4, 1933, in Frost, Minnesota.
Preceded in death by husband, Paul Perez; parents, Ignacio and Florence Lascon; Twin sons, John and Peter Perez; sons, Paul Perez (Jr.), Raymond Arellano; brothers, John, Rudy, and Daniel "Danny" Lascon.
Survived by children, Marie Perez, Virginia (Jeff) Ollestad, Theresa (Cynthia) (Richard) Lieske, Phillip Perez, Ann (Russell) Stewart, Steven (Tammy) Perez, Tina Baker, Tony Arellano, and Linda Berg; daughter-in-law, Dawn Perez; sister, Sylvia Workcuff; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Theresa loved spending time with her 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, whose company she could never have too much of. She leaves an impossible to fill void in all our lives. Theresa's love for life came through in so many ways - she loved flowers, gardening, cardinals, bingo, the casino, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Through the years she made so many wonderful gifts for friends and family, but most of all she loved her family in many ways.
Evening Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at The Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN. Visitation at 9:30 am, Mass at 10:30 am.
Private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Family to meet at assembly area 1.
