OBITUARY

Willis W. Langfeld

September 30, 1927September 29, 2019

Willis W. Langfeld, 91, of Andover, passed away 9/29/2019. Born on the family farm in Rothsay, MN.

Served as a crewman in the US Army tank battalion, farmer in his earlier years and later drove city bus. He retired after 32 years as a truck driver for Midwest Motors Express, but got bored and developed a residential development.

Willis enjoyed flying his own planes, tending to his yard, and feeding/watching the deer from his living room. Above all, he had a passion for his dogs.

Preceded in death by his Parents,William and Rose Langfeld; Sisters, Laura Schmidt and Louise Sumpter; Brothers, Winfred Langfeld, Wilfred Langfeld and Wilbur Langfeld.

Survived by his Children, Ron (Janice) Langfeld, LaVella (Terry) Schillinger, Daryl Langfeld, Darlene Maack; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren.

~A Celebration of Life~ Kraus-Hartig VFW #6587 8100 Pleasant View Drive Spring Lake Park, Minnesota 55432 Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2:30 to 5:30pm.

~Private Interment Service with Military Honors~ conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #470 will be held at Morningside Memorial Gardens for immediate family.
