Anna Romanelli, of Summerville, South Carolina, and formerly of Copiague, L.I., died on Saturday, September 6th, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Anna was born in Brooklyn to her late parents George and Raffaela Carapella. She is predeceased by her late husband, Vincent M. Romanelli, her sisters - Cupie, Amelia and Lee; and her brothers - Jack and Raymond. Surviving are her children - Frank and her daughter-in-law, Dawn; Catherine Marcello and her son-in-law, Dominick R., and Vincent and her daughter-in-law, Lisa; her grandchildren - Vincent Romanelli, Brittney Romanelli, Dominick and Lisa Marcello, Franci and Charlie Bozza, Rudy Marcello, Amanda Romanelli and Hannah Romanelli; and her great-grandson, Dominick Anthony Marcello. Also surviving are her sisters, Ida and Dolly; and her brothers, Benny Carapella and George Carapella.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. Deacon Phil Mills will offer the Wake Service on Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, at 9:45 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
