Barbara Mazza, a long-time resident of Copiague, New York, died Thursday, April 7, 2011. Barbara was born in Italy, then came to the United States and with her late husband raised their family here. Surviving are her daughters, Vittoria LaRosa and Maria Eva Carrieri; her grandchildren James LaRosa, Alexandra LaRosa, Michelle Carrieri, Frankie Carrieri, Jessica Carrieri, Adriana Nandin and Sergio Nandin; and a godson, Anthony Diamillo, Jr. Mrs. Mazza reposed at the D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home on Friday, April 8th from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 9, a 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Entombment followed in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
