Colman Joseph Chirayil

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Colman Chirayil, affectionately known as "Amby," who peacefully departed this life on July 6, 2026, at the age of 70.

Colman will be remembered for his warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Glory; his daughters, Tisha and her husband, Jomy Vadakkedam, and Suzanne (Jessy), widow of his late son-in-law, Abraham Geevarughese; and his cherished grandchildren, Jayce, Maya, and Diesel, who brought him immense joy.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Colman will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love him.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a lasting blessing.

Visitation will be held at St.Mary's Syro Malabar Catholic Church, 926 Round Swamp Rd, Old Bethpage, NY 11804, US, on July 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at St.Mary's Syro Malabar Catholic Church, 926 Round Swamp Rd, Old Bethpage, NY 11804, US, on July 9, 2026, beginning at 10:30 am.

Interment will take place at Queen Of Peace Cemetery, 321 Jericho Tpke, Old Westbury, NY 11568, US, on July 9, 2026.
