Edgar Leonel Perez Ramos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edgar Leonel Perez Ramos, who left us on January 9, 2025, at the age of 41. Edgar was born on November 28, 1983, in Gualan Zacapa, Guatemala, to Eloisa Ramos Mendez and the late Fernando Perez Hernandez.

Edgar was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Maria Avalos Mendoza, and a loving father to his sons, Brian Perez and Isaac Perez. He was also a cherished brother to Elsa Perez and Ana Avalos Perez. Edgar’s deep faith and unwavering work ethic defined his life. His love for his family and commitment to providing for them was evident in all he did.

He leaves behind many who will remember him for his kindness, hard work, and dedication to those he loved. Edgar’s passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to visit and pay their respects on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY, from 2:00-4:30 pm and 7:00-9:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church, Copiague, NY. Interment will follow at Amityville Cemetery, Amityville, NY.
