Dear Maria & Joanie, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Elena. She was the first person I met when I moved into my first apartment at the Harbour Club in West Babylon. I will never forget her sweet greeting to me on moving in day when she peeked out her front door. She was like a mom to me...always checking up on me, cooking for me (she made the best sausage & peppers and pizzelles!) and worrying about me. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend. We always kept in touch with notes and occasional phone calls. I will never forget her. Every time I see a cardinal I will think of my dear friend, Elena. XO

So very sorry for the families loss of a wonderful women.
We recently traveled to Hollywood, Florida and passed Dania. We drove by the neighborhood were El and Ralph lived. I shared memories with Duffy of my families visit 48 years ago. One of them was of your Mom making home made pasta for us. She was always a generous hostess, kind, smart and a wonderful sister in law.

You always had a smile. When I was young I would spend a week at your home in Amityville, it was a summer vacation for me. You will be missed. RIP my dear aunt🙏😢
