A favorite memory I have is your mom and dad taking me for a ride through the bumpy cow pastures of Houghton, NY when I was pregnant and several weeks overdue with Idonia. Lots of laughter. I'll be forever grateful for giving me April and the life long friendship we share. Definitely a life well lived.

I dont have any memories of Ellen directly, just stories and memories shared through her daughter Marcy. But I would like to truly thank this amazing woman for the beautiful example she set for her children! God has blessed me through Marcy (and her children) many times over and that is due to Ellen's love and devotion to our Lord! Thank you Ellen and I will keep all of the Holzmacher family in my prayers!

My condolences to the family. There are many memories of fun and happy times. I learned a lot as she was my Sunday School teacher in Amityville. My thoughts are with her family during this time but its a great celebration to know she is with her creator. Much love Carol Soviero

Hey Holzmacher Clan,
It’s impossible to think that your mom has left this world of mixed sorrow and joy to be finally with her Lord and Savior in eternal blessedness. She was such a burst of life with an unquenchable spirit. She brought such joy and comfort and service to so many. Surely her good works in the Lord follow her and she will receive the highest praise from our Lord Jesus, “well done good and faithful servant. Enter...”. She will be missed dearly by us left on earth. Take comfort in the fact that she passed knowing she was greatly loved. The Holy Spirit of God comfort you all until that day when we all meet at Jesus’s feet. We love you.
