We just heard about Frank Jr.  our thoughts and prayers are with you all now and always.   

Just heard so sorry always made us laugh at work .all my sympathy  to the family 

I am very sorry to hear about Frank's passing.  I remember Frank as a very determined and confident person.  He worked hard at making our football team and contributed to our rich tradition.  May he rest in peace.  Dick Anderson

Frank was my roommate at Nittany Suites during my sophomore year.  The number of conversations that we shared were innumerable, we learned so much from each other.  He was full of vigor and personality, so sorrow to hear of his passing.  Every person that knew him has stories to tell for a lifetime.  My condolences to his family during this mournful time.

I echo Marcus' sentiments. The memories being shared here wouldn't happen if we didn't share that time and our bond as PSU Football brothers. Rest peacefully, Frank. I pray your family and those close to you find peace as well.

I remember sharing a suite with Frank at Nittany Halls while at Penn State. He was from New York and I was from the Appalachia Mtns. It was something else to hear us have a conversation.  

I’ll always remember trading jokes in the back of the O-line meeting room when Coach Kenny was trying and failing to be funny. And the times you came to visit me at Stony Brook. Fair winds brother. 

Frank, I remember sitting in Nittany Hall the first day of football camp our freshman year at PSU, and you were the first person I met.  Rest easy brother.  My condolences to your family…

My condolences to the Spano family. Though we didn't talk as much as we should've, the bond created all those years ago at Penn St will always endure. Rest in peace Frank and thanks for all the great times together.
