Mr. Viegas was born in Portugal to his parents, Amadeau and Lidia. While living there, he spent many hours enjoying working with his grandfather, a tenant farmer. After coming to the United States, he still keeps his love of farming close to heart. He enjoyed gardening, and raises goats with his beloved Frances. In the years of work, he was a cement mason. He and Frances raised their family in Lindenhurst. After leaving Lindenhurst, he and Frances moved down south. While living in North Carolina, Francisco was a devoted member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church where he served as an Usher, Eucharistic Minister and Altar Server. His family remembers him a true 'people person'. He enjoyed being around people, and took such love and joy in his family.
Surviving is his wife, Frances; his sons - Frank and daughter-in-law, Callie; and Andrew and daughter-in-law, Jennifer; his grandchildren - Demitri, Joseph, Mia and Andrew; his sister, Clarisse Reis and brother-in-law, Luis; and his mother, Lidia. Predeceasing him is his father, Amadeau.
