It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Howard Brian Bowe at the age of 70 on the morning of August 15th, 2026. He was born to Joan and Howard W. on January 23, 1956 in Amityville, NY and he was a resident of Amityville for over 70 years.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Kevin... He is survived by his loving partner, Carol, her 2 children, his sister, Maureen Stark, and brothers Brian (Karen), and Gerard. He was also a loving uncle to 11 nieces and nephews, and 11 grand nieces and nephews.
In life, Howard was a pharmacist, who took great pride in dispensing prescriptions and educating his customers. He enjoyed working with old computers and refurbishing them, driving his 2009 Challenger, watching Nascar, playing chess, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19 from 2-4:30 pm and 7 - 9 pm at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street Copiague, NY. A religious service and burial will be held at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries on Wellwood Avenue in Farmingdale, NY on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Howard's memory.
