Kathleen Williams

Born on June 27, 1954, in Astoria, New York, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Arthur McGowan and Eleanor Rogers. She spent her life nurturing others—with warmth, compassion, and an ever-present sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew her.

For 45 beautiful years, Kathleen was married to her devoted husband, Eric David Williams. Together, they built a life grounded in love, partnership, and family. She was a proud and loving mother to Christopher David Williams (Angela Williams), Ryan Patrick Williams (Emilia Hitomi Williams), and Kelly Theresa Williams. Her greatest joy came from being “Nana” to her cherished grandchildren: Carter Dylan Williams, Mason Taylor Williams, and Azariel Patrick Williams.

Kathleen dedicated much of her professional life to helping children grow and learn, working as a teacher's aide with quiet strength and enduring patience. She was actively involved in her community, serving on the PTA and as a dedicated member of the Long Island MBC Sisters, where her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact.

In her free time, Kathleen loved nature walks and exploring local wineries—simple pleasures that reflected her deep appreciation for beauty, tranquility, and connection.

She is survived by her sister, Colleen O'Donnell, and was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin McGowan. Kathleen’s legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family, her community, and every life she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home, located at 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726, on October 1, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A religious service will take place at the same venue on October 2, 2025, from 10:15 am to 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at Breslau Cemetery, located at N Monroe Ave & Newark St, Lindenhurst, NY 11757, on October 2, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
