

Mr. Pagliughi was born in Chicago, Illinois to his late parents Antonio and Dorothy (nee Bates). In his years of work he was a supervisor for Weksler Instruments in Freeport, giving over 30 years of service before retiring. A proud military veteran of World War II, he served our country in U. S. Navy.
In the words of his children..."Ken Pagliughi was truly part of the "Greatest Generation". He loved his wife, Elizabeth and his children, Donald, Paul, Kathleen and Kenneth with all his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family and instilled virtue in his children - he was an honorable man".
He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth, and his son Donald. Surviving are his children - daughter Kathleen Szymanski and son-in-law James; son Paul and daughter-in-law, Debra; and son Kenneth J. and daughter-in-law, Lucille. Also surviving are his grandchildren - David Pagliughi, Rya C. Pagliughi, Kenneth J. Pagliughi Jr., Philip Pagliughi, Evan Szymanski, Zack Szymanski, Lindsay Szymanski; and his great-grandchildren - Coy Pagliughi, Madeline Pagliughi, Ashton Pagliughi, Hudson Szymanski and Easton Szymanski; and dear friends Thomas and Joanne Slavin. In addition to his family, he is cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 7-9:30 p.m., and on Sunday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral mass will be offered on Monday at 9.30 am at St. Martin of Tours church in Amityville. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, with Military Honors conducted by the United States Navy Ceremonial Guard.
