Malgorzata Konarska

Małgorzata was born in Pionki, Poland, though she grew up in Otwock. When she was 23, she moved to Rome where she met the love of her life, Sławek. They joined hands in Holy Matrimony in June 1992. In 1997, she moved to NY and was followed soon by Sławek and Karol. She was spontaneous and free-spirited; often expressing herself in painting and exploring the world through her travels. In the summertime, you could find her in her garden. She was always so proud of her tomatoes. She had a generous and loving heart. She enjoyed cooking meals and baking cakes for her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Sławek, and son, Karol (Jillian), her mother, Alina, two dear sisters, Monika (Darek) and Magda (Leszek), and countless nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Roman, in 2015.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, December 8th from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, December 9th at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption in Copiague. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale at 10:30 a.m.
