Melissa Anglum

We mourn the loss of Melissa Anglum, 54, of Copiague NY. Mom’s mischief maker, the sparkle of Dad’s eye, the bane of her brother James’ existence, her sister’s best friend, and her nephews’ partner in crime. She could make friends anywhere, sleep anywhere, do anything. She was funny, always expected the best, wasn’t overly disappointed when things didn’t pan out and feared nothing, except maybe computers. She had the strongest heart and the weakest stomach of anyone around. We miss her already.

In lieu of flowers, please leave a Melissa story (everyone has at least one), raise a beer with friends in her memory, or donate to a good cause - maybe something that supports early intervention for kids with hearing loss like the AG Bell Foundation https://agbell.networkforgood.com/projects/153630-kids-need-our-help-from-cradle-to-career or your local animal shelter. And play a football box next season if you have the chance.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, June 23rd from 2 - 4:30 pm and 7 - 9:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24th at 9:30 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, Amityville. Cremation is private.
