Paula M. DiBernardo

Pauline DiBernardo was a strong-willed, loving, caring, and generous woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered for the warmth she shared with those around her and for the many special ways she touched the lives of her loved ones and friends.

Pauline was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph DiBernardo, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of cherished memories.

She was the devoted mother of Camille (David) Joseph, Francine (Eddie) Lecce, Heather DiBernardo, Brooke McMillian. Paula joins her daughter Paula Ann in Heaven. Pauline was a proud grandmother to Lauren (Troy), Joseph (Kimberly), Ruth, and Frank. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Alexis, Josiah, and Jaxson.

She is survived by her siblings, Ginger Pizzo and Chris Cassano, as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Pauline had many interests and talents that brought her happiness throughout her life. She loved teaching ceramics, antiquing with friends, and traveling. She also had a special gift for writing beautiful cards for people, often using her words to brighten someone's day and let them know they were loved and remembered.

Pauline's faith and her relationships with others were also an important part of her life. She enjoyed Bible study at St. Martin of Tours with the children and friends, creating meaningful connections and cherished memories along the way.

Above all, Pauline was a woman who loved her family deeply. Her strength, generosity, kindness, and caring spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she will be greatly missed, her love and the beautiful memories she created will live on through her family for generations to come.

Visitation for Pauline will be held at D’Andrea Brothers Funeral Home located at 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726 on Tuesday, September 1st between 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd at St. Martin of Tours Church located at 37 Union Avenue, Amityville, NY 11701 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
