Robert S. D’Ambrosio

December 22, 1947 – May 10, 2026

Robert S. D’Ambrosio, 78, of Copiague, New York, entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2026. An Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War and a dedicated IT Director, Robert lived a life built on service, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Throughout 53 years of marriage to his wife, Donna, Robert found his greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life—the quiet patience of fishing, the steady work of tending his garden, and the shared excitement of a video game. His favorite memories were made alongside his family, whether they were camping, exploring Disney, or enjoying the sun on the Outer Banks.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Silvio and Dorothy, and his brothers, James and Thomas.

His legacy of strength and kindness lives on through his beloved wife, Donna; his children, Allison Lehmann (Alex) and Rob D’Ambrosio (Jody); and his cherished grandchildren: Ethan, Madison, Haley, Aidan, and Charlotte. He is also survived by his siblings, Jean, Dorothy, Andrew, and Michael.

Robert will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude. His life was a reflection of steady devotion to his family, his faith, and his community. He was a constant presence in the lives of those who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed.
