Rosaria Biscardi

Rosaria Biscardi, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on March 1, 1934, in Sicily, Italy, to Ciro Pernice and Vincenza Mini.

Rosaria grew up in a small town in Sicily, where she developed a strong sense of family, faith, and tradition. After marrying the love of her life, the late Biagio Biscardi, the two embarked on a new journey together in America. They built a beautiful life and shared over fifty years of marriage, raising three devoted sons — Joseph, Anthony (Julie), and Frank (Joanne), who were her pride and joy.

A talented seamstress by trade, Rosaria’s skilled hands brought beauty and care into everything she touched. Whether sewing, crocheting, or tending to her garden, she poured her heart into her work and her home. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, Adrienne, Sophia, Juliana, Anthony, Gabriella, and Emma — who lovingly called her Nonna.

Rosaria was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Copiague, New York, where she found comfort in her faith and community.

She was loved by her children, grandchildren, and siblings — Maria, Antonino, Giuseppina, Francesca, and Gaetano and extended family who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Rosaria’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, devotion, and strength. Her legacy will live on in the family she nurtured and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be held at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home, located at 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726, on November 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 1 Molloy St, Copiague, NY 11726, on November 17, 2025, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.

Burial will follow at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on November 17, 2025, from 11:15 am to 11:45 am.
