Sylvia was preceded in death by her late husband, Anthony L. Cipriani, and her daughter, Valerie Cipriani. She is survived by her devoted sons, Anthony (Lisa) Cipriani and Michael (Tatiana) Cipriani. Sylvia adored her grandchildren Jonathan (Veronica), Jeffrey (Mary), Michelle, Joey, and Vinny, as well as her great-grandchildren Rocco, Ramona, and Callum. She cherished family gatherings and her home was always open to welcome one more guest.
Sylvia was known for her warm heart and genuine kindness. She was extremely hard-working. Not only was she and her late husband one of the original owners of Albert's Pizza in Copiague, she was also a longtime employee of Little Town Cleaners. Sylvia not only excelled in her work but also formed lasting friendships within the community. Sylvia's dedication to her job and her genuine interest in people meant that she knew and cared for everyone she met.
Sylvia is survived by her loving brother, Joseph Vassale, and an extended family who will miss her dearly.
A Funeral Mass honoring Sylvia's life will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church, 1 Molloy Street, Copiague, NY on July 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sylvia's name to the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation, 110 Bi-County Blvd, Suite 114, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Sylvia will be laid to rest with her late husband Anthony at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
Sylvia Cipriani will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love for her family, and her ability to make everyone feel special. Her legacy of kindness and hospitality will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
