I first met Annette in Spring 2009 as a student in my economics class. She was a hard-working student and over the course of the semester, I observed her skillfully balance her responsibilities as a student and mother.  Years later, I walked into the Business Department office and there was Annette, greeting me with a friendly smile.  She quickly reminded me she was one of my former students.
I am deeply saddened by Annette's death. The last time I had opportunity to see her she was joyful and full of life.  I will miss her warm smile and personality.  
I extend my condolences to Annette’s family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord continue to uphold you.

I would see Annette in the hallway at North Lake, she always said 'hello' with a smile.  I didn’t know that she was ill.  I, as well as all the people on the 4th floor of the A Building, will miss that smile and send her family my deepest condolences. 

I knew Annette for a brief period of time. She always exemplified superb customer service and sweet pleasantness while assisting me at North Lake College’s business department. One day she went well beyond the call of duty by helping carry heavy stationery supplies to my car. I was touched by her kind gesture. Her quiet, sophisticated demeanor will be missed! I first met Annette playing Bunco in our neighborhood. I never realized our lives would be entwined on so many levels. We both had 2 yr old boys, who would later end up in the same kindergarten class and become great friends. We both had daughters in GS troops and we would cross paths at many camp outs! We shared homeroom mom duties and carpooled on fieldtrips. When I went to work at NorthLake I had no idea my friend worked there too! Annette has been a constant in my life for 20 yrs, and I will always remember her smile, her laugh, her stories, and her friendship. However,  the most important thing that I will always remember, she LOVED her family and it showed through every story, every school function, and in her everyday life.  Sean, Anna, and Conor your mom was amazed by the three of you! I pray that God will wrap ya'll in his arms for as long as you need. Pat, I wish I had words to comfort your heart. Annette was the Co- Girl Scout Leader for my daughter, Madeline’s troop.  She was amazing.  She had such a caring and giving heart and thought of every detail.  She will be so missed.  Sending prayers and love to the family and friends.  Dianna King

I will miss seeing Annette at work. Her happy demeanor, her smile and infectious laugh could make any day a happy event.  I will miss her greatly. It was such a pleasure to work with Annette!  There wasn't a day I would walk into the Business Office and not see her beautiful smile.  She was not only a wonderful co-worker but a good friend; always willing to listen whether rain or shine.   We will truly miss her each day at work.   The Moriarty family will be in our thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace.

Pat, Sean, Anna, and Conor-    Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss.   We will always remember Annette for the kind, sweet, and friendly lady she was.  She ALWAYS wore a smile, ALWAYS  talked lovingly of her husband and children,  and ALWAYS  offered to help in someway... running the ice cream sundae stations at Lee Elementary on Open House Nights,  sewing countless Boy Scout merit badges on sashes for Troop 841 scouts, or working concessions, uniforms, and meal deals for the Coppell Band Boosters.  (Even getting Zach a job at the Container Store  when he was home from college during the summer months.)    May God wrap his loving arms  around you all and give you strength to endure  this very difficult time. We are so very sorry.
