Bobbie Lee McGuire

Bobbie McGuire, age 76, was born in Mt. Vernon, Texas on November 3, 1939 to Vester and Effie Lindsey and passed away December 10, 2015 from complications of pulmonary hypertension and pneumonia. Left to treasure her memory is husband Donald, son Todd Burk (spouse Kimberly), granddaughters Kristen Gronvall, Sarah Lovelady (spouse Jeff), Laura, and grandsons William and Franklin (spouse Erica); son Roger Burk (spouse Michelle), granddaughters Averi, Rylee, and Abby Miller (spouse Matt); great granddaughters Elli Lovelady, Ella Miller, Leialynn Milliren; great grandsons Judah Lovelady and Ryan Miller.

She is also survived by stepson Ron McGuire, granddaughter Jenni; stepson Glen and grandson John and ex-daughters-in-law Patti McGuire and Celina McGuire. She is also survived by sisters Jean Hensel of Little Rock, AR (spouse Danny), Hilda Eubank of Pittsburg, TX, and brothers Bill Lindsey of Ashdown, AR, John Lindsey of Texarkana, TX, and Jerry Lindsey (spouse AnnaMary) of New Boston, TX; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Pauline Henderson and Mary Ellen Gieb.

Bobbie was a Credit Union professional, having retired at age 59 as Regional Director of American Airlines Federal Credit Union and had worked 14 years for Braniff Credit Union. She also served several years on the Board of Directors of Women's Southwest FCU.

After retiring, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was active in 1st Methodist Church Coppell's JOY Group, Trinity Sunday School Class, Women's Reading Group, and United Methodist Women's Mary Martha Circle. She attended as many of her grandchildren's activities as possible and was so proud of their accomplishments.

Funeral services and burial will be held at Restland, Dallas.
