

Daniel V. Ostonal, 62, of Coppell, Texas, beloved husband of Tita Ostonal for 39 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 3, 2016. Daniel was born in Bagamanoc, Catanduanes in the Philippines. There he met his future wife Tita. They have known each other since they were in grade school and were high school sweethearts. He was also the Valedictorian of his high school. After high school, he attended the Aquinas University and received his Bachelors. He later went on to earn a Masters in Business from the University of the East in the Philippines. Besides his wife, Tita, Daniel is survived by his daughter and son, Christine and Richard, his grandson, Nicholas, his sisters Linda Jackson and Nieva McDaniel, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Daniel was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. A special thanks to Dr. Gerber, Dr. Kernstine, Dr. Abu Hijleh, Dr. Choy, Dr. Timmerman, Dr. Vo and their staff, the nurses, and the respiratory therapists from the Clements University hospital for their excellent care and support. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in. Coppell on Wednesday, January 6th. Funeral services for Daniel will be a St. Ann’s Catholic Parish in Coppell on Thursday, January 7th at 10 am with reception to follow. Daniel will be laid to rest at the Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Coppell, Texas.
