LOWE, Dolores Ivey, 82 of Lewisville, Texas passed away on Monday, July 9th, 2018.

She was born on August 8, 1935 in Augusta, Georgia and was the daughter of Thomas Winston and Olavee Clark Ivey.

She is survived by her son, James Callaway Lowe, III, daughter, Helen-Eve Lowe Liebman, and granddaughters Adleigh Jaye Liebman and Emory Ivey Liebman. Her husband, James Callaway Lowe, Jr., M.D. preceded her in death.

Dolores attended the University of Georgia and Georgia Teachers College and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in many areas of specialization with psychiatry being her favorite. Dolores will be remembered for her love of Willie Nelson, Hershel Walker and her pets, baking for loved ones, incredible storytelling memory, and sending articles of interest to friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, Texas 75019. Interment Service will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Vidalia, Georgia on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 9:30 am. The family requests wearing red, one of her favorite colors, to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made by check (please note her name in memo) to Villalobos Rescue Center (Pit Bulls & Parolees), P.O. Box 771127, New Orleans, LA 70177.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dolores (Ivey) about 2 years ago . As she was a client of Wanda Coleman at JCPENNEYS salon when Wanda passed she became
One of my weekly clients I so enjoyed her stories of Herschel Walker and how she loved her football. Minus the cowboys after they Traded Herschel.... We at the salon will miss her colorful glasses and Wardrobe she was one special lady...
