Fabiola B Botero Newman

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m.., Friday, August 26, at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell, Texas.

Deacon Ed Scarbrough from St. Ann Catholic Church will be officiating the vigil service. Arrangements under the direction of Rolling Oaks Funeral Home.

There will be a funeral mass for Fabiola at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, at St Ann Catholic Church located at 180 Samuel Blvd. in Coppell, Texas.

Fabiola's ashes will be flown to Bogota, Colombia to be buried alongside her beloved husband, David Ray Newman at Los Jardines del Recuerdo at a future date.

Fabiola was born in Ibague, Colombia to Julio Cesar and Ester Botero on October 11, 1930. She married David Ray Newman on September 16, 1959 in Bogota, Colombia.

Fabiola is preceeded in death by her husband David Newman, her brothers Ciro Botero and Pablo Botero,and her daughter-in-law Gloria Newman.

Fabiola is survived by her children Cyrus, Sandra, Katherine, and Edward; her children's spouses, Peggy, Carlos and Carl; her sister's Marina, Ester Julia, and Cecilia; and her grandchildren, David, Danya, Rebecca, Nicole, Alan, and Elizabeth.

Fabiola's family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to St. Anne's Catholic Church, the staff at Las Colinas Medical Center, and the staff at Vitas Hospice in Carrollton, Texas.
