Francisco Alejandro Fuenzalida

Francisco Alejandro Fuenzalida, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 87. Francisco will be deeply missed by his wife, Natividad, their children Paulina, Mauricio, and Marko, grandchildren Elena, Jordan, Samantha, and Marcus, and great-grandchildren Elliott, Lillian, and Rowan. He is also survived by his sibling, Sergio Nelson.

Francisco was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Dina Fuenzalida and his brother, Hugo Jaime.

He was Born on June 2, 1938, in Santiago, Chile. Francisco graduated from San Juan Bosco in Santiago, Chile before beginning a long and dedicated career with American Airlines, where he proudly worked for 35 years. He was recognized for his remarkable perfect attendance throughout his career.

Francisco had a passion for calligraphy, backyard farming, and caring for animals. His favorite color was red, and he found joy in watching hummingbirds. Family meant everything to him, and he especially cherished teaching his grandchildren the traditional games of his childhood, as well as showing them how to build kites and handmade toys. He was also devoted to giving back, often donating his time to help others in need.

Francisco’s legacy of love, dedication, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
