I had the profound pleasure of working with Jerry at Ford. First in Dallas and then in Detroit. He was a barrel of laughs and fun wherever he went. I remember a lunch we went to in Detroit where he ordered an iced tea with his meal. The waitress brought him Asti Spumonte because his thick Texas drawl confused the poor lady. He will be terribly missed. Love to his wife and daughter.

I had worked with Jerry for almost two years when I went to work at Sam Pack. He was my go to man and helped me tremendously with municipal bids and setting up new fleet customers. He always had the forms we needed on his computer. He shared his experience and knowledge with me and was always there for me. He was just a good guy and I miss him already.. He will never be forgotten. There is a special place in Heaven for people like Jerry.

I met Jerry & Janice through my next door neighbor at the time, Frank Pooler. It was about 1975, I was 17 years old, they were 9 years older than me. They weren’t even dating yet at the time. They took me under their wing & became my best friends. I was there when they fell in love & got married. We had so much fun together!! Jerry was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. We haven’t seen each other in years, but thankful for social media we’ve kept up. Godspeed Janice & Jennifer. Love you very much. Kim Strait

Jerry was the first person I met when I interviewed with Ford in Dallas. I was fresh out of college, and here is this dapper guy picking me up from the airport. I was very nervous and Jerry talked me down and settled me down before I got to the regional office.
It was a pleasure to work with Jerry in the late 80's.. I learned alot from him, and he helped me immensely in my career at Ford. Always had a great smile, and good advice for a rookie zone manager.
A good man, gone too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers go to the family.

Jerry was always such a pleasure to be around and to work with. It was both an honor and privilege to work with him at Ford Motor Company and Five Star Ford. He will be greatly missed by all.
