A Wake and Funeral Service wlll be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 beginning at 8:30am at Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. Burial will follow in Rolling Oaks Memorial Center.
Joseph K. Philip (Baby Chirayil) was born July 1st, 1944, to Chirayil Pachi Philip and Aleyamma Philip (Kalayil) in Kuruppanthara, Kerala India. After his school education, he did some trade business and some taxi services in India. He married Accamma Muthukattil from Karimkunnam on January 30th, 1967. They had their first child Bindhu in 1969 followed by Bino in 1970, Bini in 1972 and Bijo in 1981. His brother Thomaskutty filed the immigration application in 1980’s and he came to the United States in 1996 along with his wife and youngest son. He worked various jobs and retired when he was 65. He welcomed 9 grand children over the years and showered them with unconditional love. They all miss their appachen dearly.
He was diagnosed with COPD before retirement. His conditions worsened last few years and required oxygen and walker to assist him with living.
