He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1949 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Fusco of Eddystone, Pennsylvania.
Joe served his Country in the United States Air Force from December 13, 1970 to September 30, 1993. After retiring from the Air Force at age 44, he worked for The Home Depot for a few years. His final job was with the FAA as a flight safety inspector from September 29, 2000 until retiring on December 31, 2016.
Joe was devoted to his family and friends. He was happiest when he had his children and grandchildren around him. Joe was a diehard Dallas Cowboys Football fan. He also enjoyed baseball, fishing, woodworking and cooking Italian food.
He is survived by his loving wife Joan; sons, Randy Fusco (Amy) of Winter Garden, Florida; Brian Fusco of The Colony, Texas; daughter, Christina McDaniel (Robert) of Lewisville, Texas; sister, Maryann Iacono (Carmen) of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, brother, John Fusco (Darlene) of Aston, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kristyn, Jay, Austyn, Robby, Brandon, Gabriel as well as aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at the Rolling Oaks Funeral Home located at 400 S. Freeport Parkway, Coppell, Texas 75019. The funeral service with full Military Honors will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, 1:00pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home. Pastor John Featherston of Serenity Church of The Colony, Texas will be officiating.
