December 10, 1968 – November 6, 2018
After a brief battle with cancer, Joyce Sebastian passed away peacefully in Carrollton, Texas on November 6, 2018 at 1:34 AM. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Sebastian Joseph Karottupuram, her daughters Nekitta and Tabitta; and her son Sabin. Joyce was born on December 10, 1968 to her father Antony Joseph Puthenpurackal and her mother Mary Antony, who predeceased her. She was the youngest sibling of the four, with two brothers (Joy and Joshy) and a sister (Sheela). Joyce was born in Koratty, Kerala and completed her early education at Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Koratty. At the age of 21, she completed her Bachelors degree of Commerce from Calicut University. After graduation, she started working as an accountant at Madura Coats. At the age of 23, she married her beloved husband Sebastian. She followed the path of many women of that time, and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She accompanied her husband to Dubai and had their three children. Later, she returned back to Chalakudy, Kerala to focus on her children’s education. Joyce devoted her life to her children and still continues to influence their lives. Joyce and her family moved to the USA in 2015 and settled in Carrollton. In the short time that she has resided in this country, she managed to acquire a career at Walmart as a store operator, witness her son graduate from Hebron High school, enroll all three children in college, and host her eldest daughter’s wedding in Kerala, India. Joyce was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spreading laughter with friends and family, cooking and shopping. It is heartwarming to know that all of her love, tears, laughs and tender moments helped to shape the people they are today. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

At the outset let us offer our heartfelt condolences on the untimely & sad demise of Joicy. In the whole family she was the joyous person who involved in each and every subject and contributed her role with utmost care and wisdom.
She was very keen to maintain the relationships and acted as a link in the families in India & U. S. We are missing that link and the vaccum created by her death will remain forever.
We join the bereved family in their grief and pray God to allow her soul to rest in eternal peace.
