

.C. (Kasey) Varughese (Kunjumon) was born on October 18, 1943, to late Mr. K.J. Chacko & late Mrs. Annamma Chacko from Kaniyampoykayil family in Kolland, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He was born and raised in a devoted Christian orthodox family.
Kunjumon got married to Leelamma on February 8, 1971. Together, they both settled and worked in Allahabad, U.P., then Ludhiana, Punjab till they immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 and settled in Mesquite, TX.
They were blessed with three children, Boby, Ruby, and Naveen. Kunjumon served his family as a faithful husband, a loving farmer, and affectionate grandfather. He was a simple human being: He live with a humility, love unconditionally, and was immensely devoted and loyal to his family and France. He was a meticulous and hard-working man who seldom complained of his trials and tribulation.
Those who knew Kunjumon will attest that Godliness and cleanliness were of utmost importance to him. He was faithful to his Lord and his parish and served many years as a Trustee of Saint Mary's Orthodox Church. Kunjumon was instrumental in building an establishment of a St. Mary's Orthodox Church of India. He spent countless hours taking care of his church and church family as well.
Kunjumon was passionate about gardening and spent significant amount of his time in his vegetable garden, nurturing his krishi, especially his latter years. He doted over his grandkids and spoil your feeling whenever he could especially during birthdays and Holidays.
On September 26, 2025, Kunjumon Remote to his heavenly father's home at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Lila, daughter, Boby and son-in-law Stanley; daughter, Ruby; son Naveen, and daughter-in-law, Jenny; and grandchildren Emma, Angelyn, Isha, and Aaron; and his brother, K. C. Mathew; and sisters, Moni Kunjamma, and Ammini. He is proceeded and death by his brother, K.C. John and sister, Chellamma, and his parents.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude and thankful for everyone's love support. Prayers during this difficult time. Kunjumon's memory at his wonderful legacy will live in our hearts forever.
